eBay.

Hello my long lost friends. I hope that all is well in your worlds.

Here, life is so good. Over the past few weeks we’ve had terrible colds, Zach was away on a business trip, and for one week Bitzy decided to show me what all this “terrible two” stuff was about. But now, thank the Lord in heaven she’s back to her normal and precious self. So, while the past few weeks have been strange, they have still been good.

I’m now 21 weeks pregnant and feeling every single bit of it. I have been feeling a lot better and have much more energy, but my big ole belly continues to get bigger and bigger. Imagine! Since I’ve basically been pregnant for 4 years straight you would think that I would be used to it by now, but this belly getting in my way is always a surprise!

In other news, I have reconnected with my long lost friend, eBay. That’s right folks, eBay and I have a long history. I just love it. I’m not so into yard sales (although I did go to one this past weekend and oh my goodness, seriously the best deals on the best stuff ever). I also feel as though consignment stores are too pricey, and I just can’t bear the big huge consignment sales that fill up several basketball courts. I just can’t do it. I’ll leave that my sweet Mama, who basically filled out both my babies entire fall wardrobes thanks to a consignment sale (you can’t have her, she’s mine).

All that to say, eBay is like a little tiny, go at your own pace yard sale/consignment sale. Perfect for the likes of me.

So a few weeks ago I was looking at my absolutely awful, terrible, completely embarrassingly disorganized closet and decided that a few things had to go. It all started with a few pairs of maternity jeans and some baby shoes. Next thing you know I have 25 yellow padded envelopes on my bed and I’m shipping stuff all over the country. It’s the most fun ever.

To make it sweeter, Zach and I have been having a contest to see who can spend the least amount of money. All it takes is a few months of early pregnancy to basically fund McDonalds light bill. Sick Mama=Lots of Nuggies=Lots of Money.

Then, I had a brilliant idea that all the money I earned on eBay I would put back into the nursery for our sweet baby girl. That really upped the anty! So now, I’m on a mission. I’m up to $110! I know it’s not much in the big scheme of things, but it’s a start! A new crib, bedding, rug, lamp…you get the idea: Expensive.

Now I’m like a scavenger. Everything I see in the closet is a possibility. Zach said he was going to box up all of his clothes so I don’t sell them all! Once I get started it’s hard to stop me! Don’t worry, I’ll keep you updated on my running total as the weeks go by. I have a feeling my obsession isn’t going away anytime soon!

Have a great day folks!

Girl, that’s awesome! And, by the way, we’re having a little boy! His name is Ethan Michael. :) We’re super excited!

Hey, what should I look up to find you on eBay? I’d love to check out what you’re selling! :)
