YearOne {giveaway}.
Well friends, we have something to celebrate!
Maybe this is your first time on this little stories blog of mine (welcome!), or maybe you’re a veteran of this site (thank you and welcome back!), either way, I’m glad you’re here.
You see, I have been writing these little stories for one whole year! Can you believe it? It all started when I was on maternity leave with Bitzy and I told my husband some kind of hair-brained story and he said, “that is so funny, you should write that down.”
Hence, Little Stories Everywhere was born.
I am proud to say that while I haven’t written every single day (especially lately), but I’ve written more than I ever have, and nearly 50,000 people have visited the site over the past year!
Incredible!
That makes me a little weak at the knees to know that people are actually reading my little stories! Crazy!
In honor of our 1 year anniversary let’s do a little giveaway, shall we?
The giveaway is a book since I am a pseudo reader. Ya know, the kind of gal who loves to read but doesn’t since she has a Bitzy and a Zach to take care of…oh and a house and 2 very high maintenance puppies.
So, in honor of one of my favorites of the past…here’s your giveaway!
This book is a beautiful collection of thoughts and reflections by one of my favorite speakers/authors. She is truly wonderful.
I think you’ll like it…I know that I sure do.
I mean, it’s only appropriate for me to give you an anniversary gift, we’re in this crazy blogtastic world together after all!
To enter, simply leave a comment telling if you love to read and why, or if you can read but you just don’t:). Winner will be chosen on February 27th!
Can’t wait to hear from you!!!
Love to all,
PS: Like my little stories? I would really appreciate it if you’d vote for me here and here.

I am a sugar addict. This, you must know. Any sugar will do. Well, except for those weird smushy hamburger candies and I've never been much for black licorice. I'll pass on those. But any other sugar is fair game.

Hi Sweet Molly! I am an absolute veteran of your little blog. I just love reading your “little stories”! It helps keep me connected to my long lost friend. Anyway, I LOVE to read, although I don’t read as much a I’d like either since I happen to have 3 bitzy’s at home myself(well, they are not bitzy anymore so you just keep that cute little nickname for yours) and a Kent, and 4 dogs, 9 chickens, and a host of bees. There is a saying out there (I can’t remember if it is by someone really important or just some random person) that goes something like…10 years from now you will be same except for the people you meet and the books you read. Or something like that. Can’t you tell how well I comprehend all this great stuff I read.
Reading feeds my brain as much as food and I love BOTH!
Love to read but never have time. Bummer. Now I’m lucky if I can get through a magazine.
I love to read but have a really bad habit of skimming, I just get to excited to see what happens and all of a sudden the story won’t make sense to me and instead of saving time I have to reread what I just read… geesh.
yay! i haven’t missed a post yet. i love reading your blog. I read my law textbooks nearly 24/7, so this is much fun break and treat
Love you, sister!
I wouldn’t say that I love or hate to read so much… it’s just something that I do. Aside from childrens books or super-duper short story stuff I prob hadn’t read an entire book since high school until… at Christmas in ’09 I picked up Twilight up off a friends coffee table and had read the entire series in less than two weeks! It goes without saying that reading is ALL I got done during that time.
Since then, I have re-read the Twighlight series, Bridges of Madison County (which is soooo much better than the movie), The Notebook (also better than the movie), the Hunger Games books, and I’m now on what I am told is the Mercy Thompson books. I do like the books but I think the reason I read is because I find it very challenging.
I mean it’s almost like a little high to me when I turn the last page and finish the book… no I am not kidding. After the Twilight meltdown/fiasco/complete-and-total-lapse-in-abilty-to-prioritize (I don’t know any other way to describe what happened at my house during the time I was reading the series) Chris and I had a long discussion about how my reading was out of hand. In the end we concluded that he was right and so I now depend on him A LOT to help me keep the reading in check
Hmmm… speaking of my reading being out of control… somebody stop me! I’m typing and I can’t stop! LOL I like to read because the challenge of finishing the book is like a drug to me. I guess I could get the same feeling if I decided to take up quilt making!
Molly…your stories have helep me through a very difficult year in my life, with the loss of my mom and sister there were days when I did not know if I could go on. Your stories were insprirational, heart warming and funny. There was not many things that could make me smile but your stories did. I have to say that I look everyday for a new uplifting story that may in someway brighten my day or just make me laugh. Molly I have known you forever and you have become the most beautiful lady I have ever known….you are an incredible wife, mom, daughter, sister and friend. Your children will grow in the beautiful knowledge and wisdom of our sweet Lord. You will be blessed with so many memories….and you are already starting precious memories for your daughter.
Thank you Molly for making my days lighter and brighter:)
