Andreu Genestra brings the taste of Mallorca to the world of showbiz

Mallorcan cuisine is inextricably linked with the name Andreu Genestra. The Michelin-starred chef, who was awarded a Michelin star and a green star for sustainability in Llucmajor, has been delighting both locals and visitors to the island with his creations for 15 years. He is now taking over the gastronomic management of the entire Lío Group as Culinary Director.

Guests at Lío Mallorca on Paseo Maritim can look forward to a unique symbiosis of culinary delights and entertainment. The artistic genius of Lío creator Joan Gràcia meets the tasteful sophistication of Andreu Genestra. Together they have created a concept that positions Lío as the world's best and biggest restaurant cabaret experience.

The show on the plate

"We want the show to be on the table," explains Genestra. At the ITB in Berlin, he already wowed guests with his delicacies at the gala dinner of the Island Council in the renowned KaDeWe department store. For Lío, he has developed an innovative sharing concept that is bolder and more spectacular than ever before. Our dishes are designed to be enjoyed together. We are increasingly focusing on the wow effect, says the top chef.

From the simple to the special

Genestra gained experience in world-renowned restaurants such as Mugaritz, El Bulli and Robuchon. But he is most inspired by Mallorcan cuisine. His concept: to give simple products such as home-baked bread a higher esteem again. The new menu offers highlights such as brioche with wagyu, horseradish and mascarpone, red gambentartar with caviar and green apple, a spectacular seafood festival and vegan sushi with green asparagus, shiitake and black truffle. For dessert, the Lío gold piece awaits - a melt-in-the-mouth chocolate mousse with salted caramel.

Party from Easter

On April 17, the party season starts at Lío Club Mallorca with international DJs and top residency nights. New this year: Nostalgia - a disco revival of the 70s and 80s. From May 15, guests will experience the ultimate Lío experience: cabaret, fine dining and a club night afterwards. Dancing until the early hours is not only allowed here, but encouraged!
